My name is Jonathan McCreary and I have been a designer for as long as I can remember. I am obsessed with seeking out great design and analyze everything from billboards to nutritional information labels on food products. I consider myself lucky to be able to pursue this passion to make a living.

 

I have been designing professionally for over 12 years now. My education, background and training in the jobs I have held, have given me a wide variety of experience with many types of media. I have designed for web, print, POP, apparel, accessories and many other areas in the design field. This experience has allowed me to take on many types of projects throughout my career and i feel has made me a well-balanced designer.

 

When I am working on a project I truly put my heart into all aspects of it. The product of every project will be as close to the requested client outcome as possible. I make sure it is in line with the current market trends and inject my creativity to provide a unique result. I don’t believe there is a project that I can’t complete; therefore, I am willing to tackle requests of any size. If I receive a request for a technique I have never used, I will learn the procedure to produce the desired client outcome. • Developed and designed for boutique, mass and private label licenses to create product that was marketable to the women’s, junior’s and girl’s buyer needs.

 

• Extensive experience in researching market trends through comp shopping and trend services both in L.A. and N.Y.

 

• Developed product across all levels of PLM, from concept to pre-production.

 

• Design, create and sampling of women’s, junior’s and girl’s belts and small leather goods.

 

• Design, create and sampling of custom hardware and buckles.

• Created all original art utilizing existing application techniques and experimenting with new ones. Communicated with factories internationally for quality assurance.

• Collaborated closely with sales team and merchandising team to determine seasonal product lines for key market meetings.
